Meet Luke
I, Luke West, started out travelling the world at 18 yrs old with the USAF. I lived in Japan for 10 yrs and after departing from the military life, I decided to make another leap through southern Asia and ended up in Sydney, Australia (8 yrs) and Melbourne, Australia (2.5yrs) which is where my love for coffee began.
I travelled Australia, exploring and trying all the different coffee variations and making some amazing life long memories.
In January 2024, I decided I wanted to move back to the US and bring a little taste of Australia back with me, and so I created Roo Brew Mobile Cafe.
It has been huge career jump for me from mechanic/fabrication to Barista but one I’m passionate about. My skills as a fabricator and mechanic has enabled me to be able to build every aspect of this business from the vehicle fitout to the end result of a delicious ole cuppa.
I took a course at the Melbourne Coffee Academy to get fully trained in the art of coffee making and to better my skills as a barista. I want to come to your office/job site and make it as simple as possible to provide you with the best tasting Cafe quality coffee with the freshest coffee beans locally sourced.
